Touring Consortium becomes an Arts Award Supporter

The Touring Consortium Theatre Company are proud to announce that they have become an official Arts Award Supporter as they move into their next touring production of Pat Barker's Regeneration, adapted by Nicholas Wright.

As a further example of their commitment to the arts and its education of young people, Touring Consortium have signed up to become an Arts Award Supporter and working together with Theatre Cloud have exciting plans for future ways in which to help young people hoping to enter the Arts industry.

What is Arts Award?

Arts Award is a unique national qualification that helps young people to develop as artists and arts leaders. The programme develops their creativity, leadership and communication skills. It is open to anyone up to the age of 25 and embraces all interests and backgrounds.

What is an Arts Award Supporter?

An organisation or artist offering activities that young people can use towards their Arts Award, such as: workshops, arts and cultural events which they can review.

What can the Touring Consortium offer those studying for their Arts Award?
  • Young people can come and see the plays, write reviews and send them here to Theatre Cloud where they may be published. 
  • For those studying for their Gold Award, there will a unique placement opportunity coming up - more information to follow shortly so keep checking back!
  • Young people studying for their Arts Award will also have the opportunity to attend a Page to Stage workshop, actors Q&As, tours of the set and, where possible, opportunities to talk to the cast for their Hero/Heroine module.
