The shortlist is here! And you can watch them too!

There's tales of knitted nooses, songbirds of sapphire blue and jobbing ballerinas! From themes of sacrifice and poverty to vengeance and revolution, there's been a terrific telling of tales from all across the UK. The shortlist for the Tell A Tale project is here! The cast of A Tale of Two Cities have been reading shortlisted stories backstage at different theatres every week of the tour. Now that the tour is over, the shortlist is complete!

Watch the tales read by members of the cast  here!

Before we announce the winners, we need your help!

Next week, we'll be announcing the winner of the Top Tale Award and the Runner-Up. We'll also be announcing the winners of the Most Popular (Shortlist Category) and Most Popular (General Category).

Everyone can get involved with our Most Popular categories. All you need to do is visit the shortlist and mark your support by the clicking the heart on your favourite.

Vote for your top tale in the shortlist!

Read a tale that didn't make the shortlist? The General Category is open to ALL submissions on the project page. Simply mark your support by clicking the heart on your favourite.

Don't forget, if you've told a tale, this is your chance to spread the word about your work and encourage your friends and family to mark their support for your tale. Voting for both categories closes at the end of Wednesday 14 December. Happy hearting!

Vote for your top tale from ALL of the submissions!

Good luck to everyone taking part!
