Sneaky peek: Regeneration set design ideas

As the company start preparing for Regeneration rehearsals next week, we get a chance to have a sneaky peek at some of the ideas Alex Eales has come up with for the set design...

Regeneration set designer, Alex Eales, trained at the Wimbledon School of Art and has gone on to design sets for both opera and theatre productions around the world.

Some of his most acclaimed designs include:

Design for Living, Salisbury Playhouse -

Alongside Regeneration, Alex will be designing the set for Marriage of Figaro at the Salzburg Festival in 2015. You can find out more about what is Alex has been up to in his blog.


Regeneration opens at Royal & Derngate, Northampton, where it runs from 29 August to 20 September 2014. It then tours to York, Edinburgh, Bradford, Nottingham, Cheltenham, Richmond, Wolverhampton, Darlington and Blackpool where it concludes on 29 November.
