Monday 13 October at 7.30pm on the Theatre Royal Dress Circle Foyer

The Western Front, Christmas 1914.  Lights appear from the German trenches, ghosts rise behind the horizon and soldiers meet between the firing lines. The events which follow are the most astounding stories of the Great War told through the eyes of one soldier. Private James Boyce takes us on a magical, haunting journey through the events surrounding the Christmas truce.

A big hit at the 2013 Edinburgh Fringe and combining both theatre and spoken word, writer and performer Alex Gwyther presents a moving and powerful piece to mark the centenary of The Great War. Directed by Tom O'Brien. Supported using public funds from Arts Council England.

**** Unlike anything which you may have heard before - Broadway Baby

**** A haunting and powerful work - The Scottish Daily Mail

Following the performance there will be a Q&A with Alex Gwyther about the performance and the events that inspired it.

Tickets cost just £6 from 0115 9895555 or www.trch.co.uk
