Listen: Philip Cairns and James Rastall on playing brothers Marco and Rodolpho

Friday, 20 March 2015

Listen to A View from the Bridge's Philip Cairns and James Rastall hilariously entertaining Q&A, recorded backstage at the Darlington Civic Theatre. They talk about playing brothers Marco and Rodolpho, what they think the future holds for their characters, and reveal their specialist pub quiz topics.

We put some questions to Philip and James and asked if they could answer via email. They didn't disappoint! They went all out and recorded this special audio, just moments before taking to the stage last night (Thursday 19 March). Thanks guys!

Topics include motivations for their characters, researching the play, James going blonde for the role, and a recurring Scottish-Marco connection. Take a listen below and share your thoughts on twitter #ViewBridge @PhilCairns43 @JamesRastall

A View from the Bridge opened at Theatre Royal, Nottingham, where it ran from 4 to 7 March 2015. It then toured to Cheltenham, Darlington, Wolverhampton, Bradford, Coventry and Edinburgh, where it concluded on 2 May.
