Listen: Orestes Sophocleous and Ben Woodhall on playing Louis and Tony

Listen: Orestes Sophocleous and Ben Woodhall on playing Louis and Tony

Thursday, 2 April 2015

Listen to the playfully candid backstage Q&A with A View from the Bridge's Orestes Sophocleous and Ben Woodhall at the Bradford Alhambra Theatre.

A few weeks ago, Philip Cairns and James Rastall recorded a hilarious Q&A talking about their roles as Marco and Rodolpho. If you missed it, be sure to check it out. This week they've done it again, this time putting the spotlight on fellow cast mates Orestes and Ben. As well as playing Louis and Tony, Orestes understudies Philip as Marco and Ben understudies James' Rodolpho. In this interview, they talk about their characters, what's involved in rehearsals, and explain how they keep mentally prepared for the possibility of going on as understudy.

Other topics include: how their visit to Newcastle came about, inside jokes about the show, and which two members of the cast are sleeping in the same room during the tour! Intrigued? Take a listen below and share your thoughts on twitter! #ViewBridge @ben_woodhall @opectwow

A View from the Bridge opened at Theatre Royal, Nottingham, where it ran from 4 to 7 March 2015. It then toured to Cheltenham, Darlington, Wolverhampton, Bradford, Coventry and Edinburgh, where it concluded on 2 May.
