It's X Factor for the touring theatre world!

"I have been going to the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre since I was a child and I have wonderful memories of going to the theatre and a chance to perform there would be an honour."
Joe Smallman, avid theatre-goer and auditionee.

Auditions have been held around the UK last year and this week they hit Wolverhamptonand there were lots of excited hopefuls waiting to tread the boards of the prestigious Grand theatre. Auditionees included professional and amateur actors as well as a college student.

"I believe this wonderful experience will be extremely beneficial for me as I think it will give me an insight into what it’s like to work and perform alongside a professional cast."
Hannah Dyer, auditionee.

The full community cast for Wolverhampton will be announced next week and will appear alongside the production’s professional company of actors.

A View from the Bridge opened at Theatre Royal, Nottingham, where it ran from 4 to 7 March 2015. It then toured to Cheltenham, Darlington, Wolverhampton, Bradford, Coventry and Edinburgh, where it concluded on 2 May.
