It was the turn of Cheltenham locals this week to take part in The Touring Consortium Theatre Company's community casting for future production, A View from the Bridge

To celebrate Arthur Miller's centenerary next year, the Touring Consortium Theatre Company will be producing a new production of the much loved play A View from the Bridge.  The production will also include a community ensemble hand-picked from locals to each tour stop on the way. Auditionees included students and a teacher from local school, Millbrook Academy, a Psychology graduate, professional actors as well as a keen amateurs and community members of past Touring Consortium Theatre Company production To Sir, With Love.

"It was an amazing experience so, naturally, I jumped at the opportunity to audition for yet another play from the Touring Consortium."

The full community cast for Cheltenham will be announced in January and will appear alongside the production’s professional company of actors. In the coming weeks, Theatre Cloud will also be reporting on community auditions in Darlington (10 November).
