The A View From the Bridge cast have loved your entries in our MY View From the Bridge so much that they wanted to contribute some pictures of their own.

MY View from the Bridge

John Alastair, who plays Mike and understudies Eddie Carbone

This is the Welwyn Garden City Railway Bridge. When I’m not touring, I cross over it daily on my 30-minute walk to and from home - my daily commute.

During rehearsals for A View From the Bridge, I was nearly always listening to self-made recordings of my lines...or the full scenes! As the Eddie Carbone Cover, I have plenty of script-work to do. Plenty!

Over the years, the beautiful riveted ironwork on the bridge has been added to or repaired with horrid modern paneling and under supports. That’s totally contrary to the stunning original metalwork - I think that’s very sad.
