Applications now open for young reporters March 2016

4 February 2016

We're looking for Young Reporters to go backstage on Of Mice and Men in Nottingham, Darlington and Blackpool. Are you an avid writer or just eager to learn more about a creative industry? If you're aged 17 - 30, you could be our next Young Reporter.

Our Young Reporter scheme is now in its second year and we've already enjoyed working with fifteen young people on shows including, Regeneration, A View from the Bridge, and Brave New World

We're now on the hunt for our next Young Reporters, to go behind-the-scenes on John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men, which is touring the UK from February - May 2016. Have you ever wanted to know more about how a play is staged? Do you want the opportunity to interview actors about their work? Are you looking to improve your writing skills?

If so, then the Young Reporter Scheme might be for you! You’ll get to experience creating work for our audiences, which could include writing interviews, blogs, features, and taking photographs and video.

Previous Young Reporters

"The knowledge and insight gained through the Young Reporters Scheme is infallible, the one-on-one talks with directors and actors, coupled with the amazing production I had the chance to witness is just an experience which set me, in brilliant fashion, up for a career in journalism."
Raza Khan, Bradford Alhambra Young Reporter
