Applications now open for young reporters

Wednesday, 18 February 2015

We’re looking for young reporters across the UK! Are you an avid writer or eager to learn more about a creative industry? If you’re aged 17 – 30, you could be our next young reporter at your nearest theatre.

As a young reporter, you’ll get a week’s experience reporting on the staging of Arthur Miller’s A View of the Bridge, directed by Stephen Unwin. You’ll get behind-the-scenes access and an insight into the process of staging a production.

We’re not just looking for writers! This is a chance for all young people to create and craft online content! You’ll get a rich experience to develop your work, which could include:
Interviews, features, blogs, photographs and videos.

We’re looking for reporters for the following theatres:

2 – 7 March 2015
Nottingham Theatre Royal
Deadline: 25 Feb 2015

17 – 21 March 2015
Darlington Civic Theatre
Deadline: 5 Mar 2015

31 March – 4 April

To apply, please email [email protected] with a sample of your work and a paragraph proposal idea. It could be about the show or your local theatre.

Please include your name, age and contact details and put the name of your nearest theatre in the subject line.

You’ll need to be available for the week at your theatre.
