'We'll be saying to the acting company here's a plate full of ideas, eat what you're hungry for' Brave New World director James Dacre on going into rehearsals on 3 August 2015.

A few weeks back, we sat down with Artistic Director of Royal and Derngate and director of Brave New World James Dacre.  James gave us a brilliantly in-depth interview on what attracted him to the project, his thoughts on the novel's author Aldous Huxley, the research process, and of course, the task of bringing the story to the stage.

We'll be giving you more of that in the coming weeks, but for now we're starting with where we're currently at - rehearsals - which began just a few days ago on Monday 3 August 2015. What did James have to say about going into the rehearsal room?

Brave New World premieres at Royal and Derngate, Northampton, where it runs from 4 to 26 September 2015. It then tours to Edinburgh, Blackpool, Nottingham, Cheltenham, Wolverhampton, Darlington and Bradford where it concludes on 5 December.
