'...what you see in Huxley's Brave New World is a piece of work that has a great sense of humour and humanity to it'  James Dacre talks about what attracted him to direct Brave New World.

Brave New World director James Dacre talks about his motivations for bringing Huxley's vision to life on stage. James reveals he has been interested in Brave New World since first reading it as a teenager, explaining he is attracted by the human appeal it has to audiences.

'What makes it a unique theatrical prospect and less about the way in which Huxley as a writer is trying to prophesize about the future, and much more a piece of work that hypothesizes how the future of science, medicine, technology, politics, ecnomics, might affect human relationships and behaviour as we understand them today'

Brave New World premieres at Royal and Derngate, Northampton, where it runs from 4 to 26 September 2015. It then tours to Edinburgh, Blackpool, Nottingham, Cheltenham, Wolverhampton, Darlington and Bradford where it concludes on 5 December.
